Summer. Early afternoon.
I run
outside to fetch water from howuz*.
The scorching
wind hits my face.
The dress gently
hugs my legs.
It shields
me from the heat.
It protects
me from getting hurt.
It lets
me be seen.
It lets
me disappear.
