#OccupyKossuth

2018 | 3 minutes | Documentary

When the shutdown of educational programs is a death of intelligentsia, even a symbolic one, and represents the loss of academic freedom, what is left for the youth whose freedoms are under the threat?

To close a week-long protest, students in Budapest, get together in front of the parliament to express solidarity and commemorate the loss of academic freedom. The mourning day marks a two-year struggle of CEU, a prestigious university, followed by rigid rules against academia introduced by the Fidesz, a right-wing populist political party in Hungary.
